Clinical case

Mr. J. H., 62 years old, has been on CAP replacement therapy for a year, with catheter installation through the surgical technique, with good healing status. This patient is presented to the DP unit for revision of the catheter, because it refers pain and the area is hot. During the evaluation, redness is observed in the area surrounding the catheter, with slight inflammation that, upon palpation of the patient, refers pain. In addition, it presents bloody discharge without apparent foul odor, with vital signs within normal parameters. It should be noted that the transfer line was changed two months ago.
